I really adore the Kingdom Hearts series, and I always wanted to do a shrine to one of the characters. At first, I wanted to do a Sora shrine, but realised there were too many already. Riku was the same. As awesome as Kairi is, I don't think I could write enough info for a shrine for her. So, when CoM came into picture, there was Axel. I wanted to do a shrine to him, but wasn't sure if I could make a decent layout with only GBA sprites. When Kingdom Hearts II came out, I had no choice but to make one. We opened officialy on 12th May 2006, and moved over to my domain, Akuseru.org on the 5th May 2007. We were the first Axel shrine to offer the following: Merchandise Games Adoptions Doujinshi Images Forums Cosplay There's no real big deal in it, I know. That's more for 'technical' info. Although, content wise, we are the largest Axel fansite out. I'm not too bothered about being the biggest or the best though. What counts is that the Axel fans out there have a place to visit - All I wanna do is spread the Axel fandom further. This is currently the only major shrine I have, but at the same time - I have a full time job to attend to. That means it takes up almost all of my online time to update a lot. If I ever go without updates, I'm not ignoring CITM - I'm probably just busy. |
