Ending
Axel leaves us in a very different way to the other Organization characters.
After Sora first sees Xemnas properly, Axel appears to let Sora know who Xemnas is. Whilst there, he starts to tell Sora about Organization XIII's plans. He also admits he kidnapped Kairi. Before he can tell Sora anything more, Saïx decides to visit him. The next time Axel catches up to Sora is later, when Sora is in the portal that can lead him to the World That Never Was. Axel appears to help Sora defend off all of the nobodies, to show him he's on Sora's side from now on. However..... Axel was already weak by the time he got there, and, in order to save Sora, he sacrificed himself. Sora was concerned, especially seeing him fade away. Axel told him not to worry, because he has no heart, he never really existed anyway. He asks Sora to apologise to Kairi for him, and then fades away. |
